LUTHER SEASON TWO EPISODE ONE review

Luther is back! And BBC ONE has him!

And we reviewed him!

GAME OF THRONES 1.09 "BAELOR" review

Oh Game of Thrones, you are a cold, hard bastard.

Maybe the best cold, hard bastard on TV.

DOCTOR WHO 6.07 "A GOOD MAN GOES TO WAR" review

And with that, Doctor Who goes out strong with it's mid-season finale.

Seriously. This was good stuff.

GAME OF THRONES 1.08 "THE POINTY END" review

Game of Thrones came back strong.

Very, very strong.

DOCTOR WHO 6.06 "THE ALMOST PEOPLE" review

This one didn't live up to its first half, but the final moments made this a Doctor Who episode to remember!

GAME OF THRONES 1.07 "YOU WIN OR YOU DIE" review

The next episode of Game of Thrones wasn't as good as the previous, but was still better than just about everything on television.

Yeah, I said it.

GAME OF THRONES 1.06 "A GOLDEN CROWN" review

Game of Thrones was next on the schedule.

Oh, it was so good it hurt!

DOCTOR WHO 6.05 "THE REBEL FLESH" review

Then came Doctor Who!

This was better than it had a right to be.

WALKING DEAD Season One Recap

As I type this, the DVD set of the first season of THE WALKING DEAD is on sale at Amazon for $9.99.  That's practically too cheap to pass up, even if you're only slightly interested in checking it out.

If anyone's curious, here's what I thought about the season, episode by episode:

1.1 "Days Gone Bye"

1.2 "Guts"

1.3 "Tell it to the Frogs"

1.4 "Vatos"

1.5 "Wildfire"

1.6 "TS-19"

MISFITS 2.07 Review

And with that, we say goodbye to our Misfits until next Fall sometime.  And from what I understand they're talking about extending the third season with more episodes and a variety of writers.

Which, I have to admit, I'm not very excited about.

On the one hand, I'd love to see more of our heroes, but on the other, it may spread the show out too thin.  It's impossible to tell at the moment, but I'm looking forward to the new season with a touch of hesitency.  Especially given how this season has wrapped.

But then again, maybe the way this season wrapped sets us up for a more extended approach next time.

We'll see, I guess.  But now, Spoiler Alert!

MISFITS 2.06 Review

When is a finale not a finale?

When there's an extra Christmas episode later in the week, that's when.

But technically, this is the Series Two finale, and we get the wrap-up of the major storylines of the previous five episodes.  Most of it is pretty entertaining, but I must confess to having narrative problems with the way everything comes together in the end.

Spoiler Shields Up!
